Silo Gallery represents over two dozen very talented artists specializing in 3D art forms, including bronze, raku pottery, wood, and warm glass such as: fused, draped, slumped, cast and mixed media.Studio

The Gallery and Studios
Just a few miles from Wimberley, the renowned artist colony in the Texas Hill Country and a pleasant 5 minute drive from San Marcos will find you at 7990 Ranch Road 12. Silo Glass Gallery + Studios is located in two adjacent structures. a purpose built 4,000 square foot building houses the artist's gallery and a warm glass studio. Next door is a historic silo which has been converted into an Architectural Studio and gallery. The Gallery offers art glass, decorative art, functional glassware, jewelry and everyday treasures. Everything is made in the studio or by local artists. Interested in creating your own fused glass pieces? Scheduled and individual classes in glass fusing are available in the Studio. The Silo is home to two large architectural kilns; Bertha and Herman. These large kilns can handle most architectural needs such as screens and partitions, Visit with us at the showroom for architectural and home accessories.
The Architectural studio adds another 2,000 sq. ft. to our main studios in the Wimberley/San Marcos, TX area.

In addition to amazing Artists, Silo Gallery also has wonderful gift items for sale. These are made or decorated by Silo artists. The only things at the Silo that we do not make are the Nail Files, they come from the Czech Republic and are the finest you can find and the amazing World's Smallest Toys...- Wood

Call, e-mail, or come by today to hold your place! The classes are small, minimum of 2 and maximum 6 students.
Rainy day or scorching hot, it is a great place to be when the weather isn't perfect, so watch for classes opening up in the future!
Classes are about two and a half hours, and will be available when possible
Tools and supplies are provided, there is a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 students per class.

We work with both interior designers and collectors to create unique and memorable art glass pieces that can be incorporated into your home or business plans. Blacksplash accent pieces, window alternatives, ceiling decoration and more can be created. Examples are available at the Gallery.

About Us
Chester and Elissa ... After retiring from programming careers with IBM, they looked for a community with healthy artist associations. Wimberley fit the bill plus it was a wonderful place to live! Chester and Elissa moved to Wimberley February 2014 and opened Silo Glass Labor Day weekend. They have over 20 years of combined experience creating glass art. This state of the art warm glass facility houses ten kilns in a 'green' environment. The Silo Architectural showroom and studio was officially opened in November 2021 . Now offering glass topped coffee tables, wood and glass screens/partitions, sconces, and more. Chester also created a relaxing water feature with Koi pond and two waterfalls between the Architectural Showroom and the New Gallery & Studio.
