Welcome to the Wimberley Community Civic Club

Times change and the Wimberley Community Civic Club now has their own website. It was a pleasure to help out in those early internet days. This page is still updated and current, however more information will be found on the new web site.

We meet monthly September through November 
and then January through May
on the second Friday for a lunch meeting at 11 AM
Chapel in the Hills
14601 Ranch Road 12 North.

About the Wimberley Community Civic Club

In the spring of 1979, a group of women in the area recognized the need to reach out and meet the newcomers to our rapidly growing community. The Wimberley Community Civic Club was organized.

In 2019, the Civic Club awarded $24,000 in scholarships and area non-profit organizations received a total of $41,000 in donations for a total of $65,000 from our organization.

Home Tour & Spring Event Fundraisers

One of Civic Club's most important goals is to nurture community spirit through service and financial support. Through our two fundraisers-and because of the hard work and dedication of all our members and the enthusiastic participation of our community-we are able to achieve that goal and help ensure Wimberley's wonderful quality of life.

From November into May, these two events provide a broad variety of entertaining and/or educational activities for our community and beyond. Proceeds go back to the community through donations that support the work of many local non-profit agencies and organizations and through scholarships for graduating seniors.

Membership is open to all Wimberley area residents. We urge all newcomers to let us know you are here, come to a meeting and then decide if you would like to join our group to help make Wimberley a better place to live.
