THE 2011 HOME TOUR
The 24th annual “Hill Country Home Tour” was on November 11 and 12, 2011
Since 1987, the club has provided the public the opportunity to look at some of the beautiful homes in the Wimberley area.
In 2011 the Home Tour raised $15,357.
The Home Tour in the fall and Spring Event in the spring are the two fund-raising events the Civic Club sponsors to raise money for agencies and organizations in the community each year. In May of 2011 the Civic Club gave $34,000 to 25 community organizations and scholarships to 10 graduating high school seniors.
To see homes on the 2011 tour and information about any of the Home Tours from the last 12 years, please select a year from the menu on the left.
SPRING EVENT 2012
The 2012 Spring Event begins in January and lasts into May. Events included Dinners, Arts and Crafts, Tours and Trips, Music and Literature, Workshops and other opportunities for fun.
In 2011, $22,608 was raised from these events and was distributed to the community in the form of donations and scholarships.
To participate in an event, select one or more events from the Spring Event Book and call the reservationist for the event. Books are available at the Community Center and other businesses and churches in Wimberley. All hosts volunteer their time and talents, and the money collected goes back to the community in the form of donations and scholarships.
