Being repaved from the bridge to Cottonwood, at least. Most likely all the way to the county line.

This should encourage a higher speed, that road is a speed trap! Do you know, is it the Hays county end? or Canyon? Last time I drove down it from Sachleben (cant say it or spell it) to the bridge I noticed new pavement.

I've noticed that when they start re-paving or widening a county road-watch out! Developers are on the way. Ex: Way Side widened to Thompson Ranch. It's for sale-5 acre tracts is what I heard.

Hays Co. is redoing the road. It's pretty much finished from the bridge all the way to Comal Co. line. Widened, resurfaced, striped. They are working on drainage items now.

Problem is the speed limit is 35, and now everyone wants to drive 50.

I heard that too, about Thompson Ranch. I shrugged it off, being the first time I had heard of it and havent seen any signage out there. Something to look in to!!! I am curious to know who the developer is.

Just call Slick Willie Conley. If there's a road that's being paved or widened and it just doens't make sense, then its time to point the finger at Willie. You can just bet that hes taking care of business, if you get my drift.
