I posted earlier about ride sharing to San Marcos for Wal Mart/HEB shopping and the thread got hijacked by the US medical system. No one responded but I still think it's something we can and ought to do. I personally have used the rideshare board on craigslist.org. I tried to link it here but couldn't. I've ridden to Conn., Ann Arbor and Amarillo with people I've met there. We can surly find people to share a weekly ride to San Marcos or Buda. Everyone saves. By the way thank you administrator for adding rideshare to the forum.

It is a wonderful idea. I don't know how likely it is that I'd make use of it but the idea is great. This is one of the best uses of the forum to date.

You know what we would be a great idea? Have a van shuttle at certain times of the day from Wimberley to San Marcos. Everyone who uses it contributes to the gas/maintenance for the vehicle. Have the shuttle pick up people in the Brookshire Parking lot.
