Wow! I just found out that they are closing Valley Springs for 2 months! How can such a small improvement take 2 months - that is just rediculous.

More than a simple fix...new sewer and water lines, a round-about @ PeacePipe as well as improved roadbed...especially at entranceway which is/was a life-threatening hazard and turn lanes on 2325 bothways to/from Wimberley....look forward to this being closed easily to beginning of 2009.

I just love how they shut this key road down and then do no work on it for two weeks. Why on earth did they not wait to shut it down until they were actually ready to work - also, how about working with the WN residents to try and keep it open and work around the traffic...

I drove through there on Wednesday. I think they are concentrating all the work on there property clearing just north of the entrance. It is probably just easier for all the trucks to come and go without residents in the way.
