Bob Flocke has reported the following closings, today, October 22, 2009:"Heavy rainfall earlier today in the upper Blanco River basin today has caused several road and low water crossing closings in the Wimberley area. River Road is closed west of the intersection with Wayside Drive. The low water crossings at CR 1492, Hidden Valley and Little Ark are closed. The USGS recorded flow of the Blanco yesterday was 80 cubic feet per second. At 3:00 p.m. today the flow was 1760 CFS and rising. Do not drive around barricades. Turn around, don't drown."
