If I understood the posting about Jacob's Well and the county correctly, the WVWA no longer owns the well? Is this right? From http://www.visitwimberley.com/water/ "The Wimberley Valley Watershed Association (WVWA) now owns Jacob's Well, one of the outstanding natural springs in the Texas Hill Country and entire nation." Not quite sure who owns what at this stage.

Yes, at least that is the plan. In this deal, the county buys 50 some odd acres owned by a developer and the watershed association gives up some of its property. And yes, the property they are giving up includes the well. I repeat. The property they are giving the county includes the well.
