Thanks for the heads-up, Reddog! We double-checked with the county and this event is planned for Saturday, October 18th.It's a great opportunity to get rid of that noxious stuff that you may have been trying to figure out how to handle. There are many of us who are unable to deliver our hazardous materials to the San Marcos facility. I believe that those businesses that sell the mercury light bulbs should accept them when they're done. Both Brookshire Bros & Ace Hardware could offer that as a courtesy for their customers.

We dropped off early, lines were long and moving well. Traffic flow was well handled. Kudos to all involved.
