The history of Lone Man Mountain pre-dates my time and I'm sure it's been restricted/private property for a long time. But has anybody been up there?

This is an old topic and everything I know is hearsay. But no, I have never been up top but I am told it was the first microwave tower in the area due to the fact that it was needed to keep LBJ connected with the nuclear hotline at his ranch back in the 1960s. It is in fact the highest point in Hays County.
It makes sense to me.
