What's the best type of fill dirt to repair a deer trodden landscape which now shows roots and rocks? I've seen the post about "red death". Any good advice on what and where to get it is appreciated! Thanks!

Best bet is calling a few of the more reliable nurseries or garden supply companies in the area.Austin has a couple of them that have been around for a long, long time with good reputations. They have experts in almost anything having to do with dirt and gardening - should be able to tell you how to find dirt that won't poison your yard.

If the area is erodeded out, fix the erosion problem first. Type of fill material would depend on your intended use.
