Is anyone else annoyed by the constant dog barking coming from the newly expanded dog kennel at Wayside and Green Acres? Trying to spend some quality time outside while its nice and all we hear are the dogs barking. Does Hays County have a noise ordinance?

Come on down Wayside a little farther to the Inwood Forest area. It is the dog bark capital of the universe. It is Rare, and I mean Really Rare to be outside without hearing dogs barking. It's really obnoxious and if there ain't a law there ought to be one! Bow wow!

Hay's county does have a dog barking ordinance. The animal control head officer is VERY nice and professional. He had to come to my house over an issue with a CAT. He handled the situation swiftly and again he was very kind and professional. Give them a call and they will take care of the problem. The fines can be expensive to the owners who do not comply.
Good luck to you guys....I love dogs. I have dogs. But I do NOT allow them to disturb my neighbors.
