The sensational vocal jazz ensemble, VocaLibre, will perform in Wimberley on Thursday evening November 14, 2002 at 7:30 PM.
Under the direction of Tiffany Stone, VocaLibre has quickly become recognized as one of the most exciting and dynamic vocal ensembles in the region. During this concert, VocaLibre will perform jazz standards, jazz arrangements of pop tunes, and even selections from musical theater
- all with no instrumental accompaniment. This program is a definite “not-to-miss” highlight of this concert season.
VocaLibre is one of five vocal ensembles from the Southwest Texas State University School of Music. Members of this ensemble come from various disciplines offered at SWT
- from music and musical theater majors to computer science and sound recording technology students.
Wimberley Concert Association is a non-profit organization that, in conjunction with the Department of Music at Southwest Texas University and other musicians from the Central Texas Hill Country, presents professional-quality concerts for the Wimberley, Texas community and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. Proceeds from our concerts go to scholarships for students in the Department of Music at SWTSU and to support Wimberley arts organizations.
Tickets are available at the door at $5 each for adults. Children are admitted free with a supervising adult. Students are admitted free. Season tickets are also available. So join the Wimberley Concert Association at Chapel in the Hills (14601 Ranch Road 12, across from the Dairy Queen) in Wimberley, Thursday November 14th, at 7:30 PM for an evening of sensational musical entertainment.
