Some consider Wimberley a far
suburb of Austin, our beautiful state capitol, which is but
a 45-minute drive away. Visit the newly renovated and expanded capitol building open

University of Texas campus is right in the heart of the city, with

San Antonio, one of the six most unique
cities in the USA, is only 50 miles southwest of Wimberley and filled with southwestern
charm. History buffs won't want to miss the Alamo and the Institute
of Texan Cultures and the annual
Texas Folklife Festival. The River Walk is
worth a trip in itself. Take the kids (or
the kid in you) to Seaworld, Fiesta Texas,
