Wimberley and the surrounding area are no different from most of your small towns across Texas. Texas ranks near the bottom for insurance programs for children; there are far too many under-insured and uninsured children here. Many families cannot afford medicine and doctor's appointments, families who need assistance with getting their children started in school with supplies and clothes.
