Michael Elam conducts the Starlight Symphony Orchestra's Young Artist Concerts featuring violin soloists Lily Skipper of Wimberley and Adela Hein of Driftwood Sunday, February 27th, 2:30 p.m. at the Chapel in the Hills Fellowship Hall in Wimberley.
A performance in Kyle on Saturday, February 26, 7:30 p.m. at the Hays Performing Arts Center in Kyle will also include a presentation of the 2005 Young Artist Awards.
Skipper performs Massenet's Meditation from "Thais" and Hein, the first movement from Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5. Also on the program are Rossini's L'Italiana in Algeri, Prokofiev's Lieutenant Kije, Mozart's Impresario Overture, and Verdi's Triumphal March from "Aida." |
