Ultralight Plane Follows the Journey of the Monarch Butterfly
The awesome journey of some 300 million butterflies from North America to Mexico
was accompanied by another in 2005...that of
Francisco
Gutierrez. He followed the migration of the Monarchs in a 33-foot wide utralight airplane.
The route of his journey (and that of the Monarchs each year) is across the
Central Texas skies, right over Wimberley!
