Hill Country tradition, the Annual
Pro-Open Wimberley VFW Rodeo is traditionally held on the first weekend in July at the VFW's rodeo grounds just north of town on Ranch Road 12.
Once the largest outdoor rodeo in the world, the event still ranks near the top.
