Coming south from Wimberley, take County Road 1492
on the right, off
Ranch Road 12, just outside of town.
Coming from San Marcos, turn right (north) on
12 at the junction of 12 and 32. Near the bottom of the long hill, look
carefully for the church sign and Country Road 1492.
Wimberley United
Methodist Church is the first thing on the left on CR 1492.
Café Susanna is staffed by volunteers and
serves lunch to the Wimberley public on Thursdays, 11 AM to 1 PM in June, July and August. $8.50 includes entree, vegetable/salad, bread, drink and dessert.
Susanna's Kitchen offers Wimberley and Wimberley
visitors a monthly coffeehouse on the third Thursday of the month, open to the public. Ticket prices range from $15~$25 depending on the performer and are available at the door. Children are free and childcare is available. Pie from Wimberley Pie Company, organic coffee from Hill Country Natural Foods, and hot tamales are also on site. Doors open by 7 PM and music starts at 7:30. This is a smoke-free, alcohol-free venue.
