Just a fifteen mile drive from Wimberley will introduce you to Canyon Lake where the water activity potential is greatly expanded. A short list of possibilities include: Sailing, windsurfing, motor boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, scuba diving, Jet Skiing, stand up paddle surfing. If you don't own or have the appropriate gear most equipment is available for rental from Canyon Lake and Cranes Mill Marinas. If floating the Guadalupe is more to your liking then head over to Sattler, grab your drinks and snacks and pick one of the many established outfitters on River Road to cater to your every need.
