Scenes from the 2021 4th of July Jubilee Parade, July 5th 2021

The 2021 Wimberley Jubilee was much anticipated. After everyone being shut up in their homes due to the Covid-19 pandemic their was a restrained sigh of relief as the USA and the rest of the world started to ease back into some sort of normalcy. The parade started out with temps in the high 80's under an overcast sky. The entire parade took place under these cloudy skies which kept the ever climbing temperatures at bay for the morning hours. The parade itself has started to bring back some family displays. The majority still revolve around businesses and political preferences. I'm starting to show my age as I long for the long lost days of family and friends creating floats and displaying them to all. The parade ended and for many folks the following day would be a work day, the 4th of July Holiday weekend was unfortunately over until 2022.
